I had been looking for a gift for a friend that was moving away from Cork. Not originally from Cork but we had made great memories here together and I wanted something timeless and contemporary that would help her remember her time with us.
After searching, I did find something Irish not particularly Cork. This made me think… What would I make…
I want to make pieces of contemporary jewellery that connects the wearer to Cork. The perfect give for someone moving away.
I am always exploring and thinking of new ideas. Too many ideas (that’s why I only do small batch production and one of a kind). I’m always thinking of the next idea.
I’ve made pictures of the Shandon Tower cut out of copper and brass… even as I write this I have thought of another direction for this to go…
I also love phrases spoken in Cork, and I hand stamp these into the inside of bangles so it’s a little conversation between me and the wearer. It’s “pure decent”.
I also do a sweary version too.
Sustainability
At the heart of my jewellery is a commitment to sustainability. I use 100% recycled sterling silver in all my pieces.
Every design is made to last, created in small batches and packaged thoughtfully with minimal, eco-conscious materials.
As a small, independent maker, I believe in doing things slowly, carefully and responsibly – for the love of craft, and for the future of our planet.

When purchasing jewellery from my website you agree to the terms and conditions stated here. Please read all descriptions to make sure the jewellery you purchase is going to be the right fit for you. I am happy to refund or exchange any unworn items within 14 days from the order being received. Please return it in the condition it arrived with you. It is your responsibility to ensure the parcel arrives back and to cover any return parcel charges.
Refunds or exchanges are not available on commissioned pieces, customised items or pierced earrings due to hygiene reasons.

Your jewellery will be beautifully presented in a branded Ginger Fire Jewellery box. This will include a polishing cloth and pouch to keep your jewellery in perfect condition.
Gift wrapping is available upon request. If you would like your piece gift wrapped, please get in touch. A hand written message can be added to your gift and the items can be sent to the recipients address at your request.

Your order will be sent by An Post registered post and is tracked as standard. This service requires a signature on delivery.
Posting in Ireland €9.50
Europe €14.50, U.K. €14.50 and U.S.A €21.00 other destinations can be calculated on request.
Delivery times for international orders will vary. Non-EU parcels require a customs form to be attached. Please be aware that international customers may be required to pay custom duties and we are unable to provide details of what these charges may be.
Once your jewellery ships it is no longer my responsibility, it is then in the hands of An Post. All orders come with a tracking number that will be sent to the email you provided at the check out.
Ready to ship orders will ship within 1-5 business days of purchase unless otherwise stated, but I usually get them out within a day or two. Made to order pieces and custom designs will take 2 – 8 weeks to ship.

If you follow these steps your silver jewellery will last a lifetime.
Please avoid working in harsh conditions while wearing your jewellery.
Take your rings off when you wash your hands especially rings with stones. And remove all jewellery before bathing and swimming.
Remove your jewellery before sleeping.
Avoid direct contact with perfumes and creams.
Polish your jewellery when you see it start to tarnish. Using the polishing cloth included with your purchase give your jewellery a firm rub. To give your piece that deep clean, dip your piece into soapy water and rub in circular motion with a soft toothbrush. Dry completely and rub with the polishing cloth.
When you are not wearing your jewellery please store it in a safe spot. The bag that your jewellery is packaged in is perfect for storing your jewellery on the go or at home. Keep out of direct sunlight for long periods of time, and away from water.
Jewellery worn naturally experiences wear and tear. If for some reason your jewellery breaks or gets really damaged feel free to email. I am happy to offer repairs for a small charge.
If you follow these steps and regularly care for your jewellery it will last a lifetime And can be passed down many generations.
